“Domestic Being"

2015

is an auto-topographic performance that creates and produces the space where it takes place. A synergy that means writing the place through the self, and vice versa—writing the self through the place.

As a performative-visual-artist, the activity of the house and the domestic space create a context for the performance. A desire within this intimate environment allows free artistic exploration, dealing directly with the status and condition of the female body and psyche, and the interaction with the domestic space. In this way, I test the boundaries, and the blurred boundary invites more room to be a woman.
Places and identities are embedded in it. They are not given to us, but we shape and create them throughout our lives

(The performance was presented 7 times in mid-January 2015 (13, 14, 15
The audience is invited into the house, a real and intimate living space where a situation unfolds that allows a different kind of relationship between me and the audience, woven on the border between being a guest and being an anonymous audience.

The choice to perform at home connects personal experience to public consciousness, and the blurring of boundaries that emerges between reality and art enables observation from a reflexive, hopefully refreshing perspective
