Durational site-specific in a bus stop that intervened and assimilated into everyday life. The dance consists score of duets and lasts 30-120 minutes. During the performance the audience are invited to sit across the street to observe and to get a fresh look and new perspective of their place of residence.
Bus station is a transition point between the past, present and future. The space already has elements of waiting, anticipation, missing out, unknown encounters.
When I create site-specific performances, I am interested in the relationship between context and environment. Exploring their boundaries, enables spectators (people who are passing by)to create new connections or new associations, to become mindful of their surroundings through a new lens.
